An Exciting Delivery!!

Dear friends and family,
Today I got this email in my inbox.

I can't believe this is actually happening!! We have ordered our sperm and it is being delivered to our Dr's office on Monday. I am so excited to get this process going, at the same time I am really nervous! I KNOW that the LORD has us in the palm of His hand. He is going to help us through this!  This was the hardest decision to make. It was so not easy to sit down and decide which sperm we were going to pick. It was extremely emotional for both Rob and myself. It is now so important that we begin to pray for this sperm. We saw things about this donor and we feel like it will be a good fit. We now need to pray that this sperm is healthy and that it's FULL!! We need a high count!

 We decided to go ahead and just order 1 sperm FOR NOW!! The reason is, when I talked to the Dr's office it's $50 A MONTH just to hold the sperm there. So if this works the first time then we would have to spend $50 a month for the next however long to keep the other sperms there until we were ready to use it. We didn't feel like we wanted to do that because we believe in the God of miracles!! We believe that the Lord will show favor and that it will work the first time. We also believe that we may be able to get pregnant on our own some day and won't need this sperm. So we didn't want to limit God's power but having them sit there. If this month doesn't work we are ready to order another vial of sperm.

So now we are just continuing with life until later this week (or so) until my cycle begins then the meds begin!


Prayer Request
- Please pray that this sperm is a healthy sperm and has a very high count!
- Please begin to pray that this IUI works the FIRST time!! We would be SOO happy!
- Continue to pray that the Lord would guard our hearts and minds from anything negative.
- Pray that I would be calm, and not stressed
