Thank you for your emails, texts, and notes over the past couple of days. They are things that we really treasure!
The doctor said that with the levels as high as they are there is a VERY slim chance for fertility. He strongly suggested stopping at this point and doing nothing further. He said that in all the cases he has seen in life time that it wasn't worth the money for genetic testing because it's so expensive. If we chose to do the genetic testing it would be about $3 grand. If we decided to go to the genetic testing we could find out if there is a VERY slim possibility that we could find some sperm to use, or the genetic testing will tell us no. Regardless it is an expensive endeavor.
Right now we are praying for a direction from the Lord. We are deciding if we should go ahead and do the genetic testing or just stop and move forward. We are trusting that the Lord will show us what to do.
We do know that we will be moving forward with IVF in the summer. We are looking at New York, and I am also looking at a place in Cary, NC. Once we have a final decision we will let you know ;)
Would you please pray that the Lord would give us a CLEAR understanding as to which way to go? If you feel like the Lord is laying something on your heart to tell us we would love to hear it! We are praying that we will honor the Lord in this decision.
We love you all and we are SO thankful that you are here to walk along side us in this journey.
Love,
Rob and Natalie
