So Now What??

So now what?? What do we do with this information that has just completely rocked our world!!! We NEVER thought in a million years that we would be "infertile".  We have had to deal with the harsh reality that getting pregnant naturally is gone!! NOW I do know that THE LORD can do MIRACLES!! He can allow us to get pregnant naturally and for that I am praying will happen!! BUT I do know that there is medical help for us and we have begun to process what we will do.

The first things we talked about was do we just adopt?? Rob and I both agreed that we will not adopt at this time. Due to the fact that I am able to get pregnant and carry a child we have decided that that's what we will do. I have always wanted to get pregnant and carry a child, and I feel that that's what the Lord wants us to do so that's the avenue we are going to pursue. Now the next question is HOW am I going to get pregnant? What method are we going to use?

When we went to REACH last year we asked about the financial aspect of all of this. We have realized that an IUI is more reasonable for us to afford than an IVF. So we have decided that we are going  to do an IUI. What this means is we will find a Sperm Donor that matches A LOT of Rob 's qualities. The qualities that we can match we will!! Once we have a Sperm Donor picked we will be doing the IUI. Our hope and prayer is that this summer we will do our first IUI.

The next thing that I have to do is make a phone call to REACH and set up our first appointment to figure this all out. We need to figure out when we need to do everything so we will be ready to go this summer!!

Here are a couple of ways that you can pray:
- First and foremost pray for a MIRACLE!! Pray that the LORD will release some Sperm so we can have our own baby :)
- Please pray that the Lord puts a Christian couple  in our past that has walked through male infertility as a married couple and has been through this. Someone that can help us walk through this. IF you know of anyone please have them talk to us :)
- Please pray that we pick out the PERFECT Sperm Donor! Pray that this Donor is a healthy donor!
- Please pray as we begin to meet with the Drs. pray for clarity and for wisdom. Pray that the lord will be honored in every decision that we make!
- Please pray that the Lord provides everything that we need to make this happen. We know that this could be an expensive process.

We will continue to update everyone as we have appointments and as we begin to make things happen. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!!
